Dear Membership,
Arlington Soccer Academy, Bartlett Soccer Club, Desoto Futbol Club, Futsal Escola, Memphis Futbol Club and Tennessee Soccer Academy have united, forming Midsouth Futbol. Midsouth Futbol is a player-centered partnership creating a grassroots-development to national-competition pathway, affording our players the opportunity to succeed in soccer at all levels.
Our combined strength of over 1,200 competitive players, 2,500 plus recreational players, more than 53 USSF/USC licensed coaches, 48 community fields, coupled with the Germantown Invitational Tournament empowers Midsouth Futbol to offer a focused, player-centered soccer education through a variety of experiences. These experiences will include a player-centered curriculum, skill and tactical clinics, futsal, summer and winter camps, an inter-club development league, and state league play in all divisions.
Neighborhood team formation will continue to be the bedrock of the U12 and below age groups. During the U13 & U14 years, players will split time between Neighborhood teams and Age Group events. By U15, Neighborhood teams will phase out in favor of a stronger, more flexible combined Age Group Roster system.
The leadership at all clubs have spent over twelve years fostering relationships to make this partnership possible. Please know that as challenges arise, our decisions are rooted in player-centered soccer.
